The fun thing with that occasion was I expected the Destroyers to do better, especially when they get to go against BBs. I still remember the one time WG ran Tier VIII 1 vs 1 Ranked, Tirpitz ruled the world and people were talking all about it in videos and on the boards
My personal favourites of the bunch are (in no particular order): Cossack, Atago and Mainz. Cruisers: Congress, Mainz, Bayard, Atago.Tirpitz fits here if you're using her for 1 vs 1 Ranked Battles, though. Here's the best of those available for doubloons right now: The "Mouse Finally Answers Your Question" Category Battleships: Kii, Borodino, Constellation, Tirpitz.But that's really all they have to offer: novelty. Still, this list includes a lot of novel ships. Some people mistake this for potency, but they're usually so situational that consistency isn't there. They usually have an interesting gimmick that, when exercised properly, makes them stand out. These premiums aren't overpowered, but unlike the ones before, they're strange. Destroyers: Fenyang, Siliwangi, Orkan, Z-35.
Cruisers: Wichita, Tiger '59, Belfast '43, Ochakov, Pyotr Bagration.Battleships: Roma, Vanguard, Alabama, Gascogne, Flandre.I do enjoy a lot of these ships, but if you're shopping for optimization, skip these. There's some pretty decent ships among these numbers, but they're not going to give you any kind of serious advantage over tech tree ships. I stress that not all of these are necessarily perform poorly. These are premiums that may or may not be genuinely bad, but their real cardinal sin is just being so unremarkable.
